MATH 5990 - Independent Study in Mathematics Advanced students with good scholastic records may elect to pursue independently the study of some topic having special interest for them. Topics are chosen and arrangements are made to suit the needs of each particular student. May be repeated for credit.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Approval of chairperson of department.
Notes: Undergraduates with junior status and 12 hours of work in mathematics and statistics may enroll in 5000-level courses with prior approval of the department chair.
Credits: 1 to 6 hours
