COM 6450 - Mass Communication Students will survey a broad range of mass communication theories that address media production, analysis, and reception. More specifically, the course will examine the development of mass communication as a field of academic study, including the major questions that have guided and challenged research in this area. Traditional and contemporary theoretical perspectives and research will be covered.
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions Restricted to the following: Masters in Communication, Organizational Communication, or Telecommunications Management. Notes: Open to Graduate Students Only.
