SOC 6730 - Formal Organization


This course analyzes the nature of large-scale, formal organizations, concentrating on their structure, types of organizational goals, processes of control, authority and leadership, and the relationship of organizations to their social environment. Examples of organizations will be selected from different areas such as education, government, medicine, science, leisure, and industry.
