SPAN 5580 - Modern Language Instruction The purpose of Span 5580 is to acquaint prospective language teachers with the various approaches and strategies involved in modern language teaching. Specifically, in a performance-orientated program, students will learn theory and practice related to teaching listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills as well as culture. Students must complete this course prior to their directed-teaching internship.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: SPAN 3160, SPAN 3170 and two of the following: SPAN 3210, SPAN 3220, SPAN 3230, SPAN 3240 or SPAN 3250, instructor approval.
Credits: 3 hours
