SPED 3250 - Introduction to Transition Issues for Learners with Disabilities This course provides an introduction to transition issues for learners with disabilities. The purpose of the course is to increase the student’s awareness of effective transition practices in grades K-12 and to help the student identify strategies for implementing such. Course topics include transition-related assessment, self-determination, curriculum for transition, and support services.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Department approval.
Credits: 2 hours
Restrictions: Restricted to majors in Special Education: Mentally Impaired, Special Education: Learning Disabilities, and Special Education: Emotionally Impaired.
