COM 3400 - Global Media Literacy This course provides a theoretical and analytical understanding of global media culture and its impact on human society. It examines the media messages from economic, political, communicative and psychological perspectives. The course examines policy issues such as privacy around digital communication, including social media, and promotes critical reflection with the aim of equipping students to be reflective users and creators of media messages.
Credits: 3 hours
