CIS 6660 - Enterprise Information Security Management The focus of this course is to explore the major issues in Enterprise Information Security Management. Prospective topics include introduction to information security management, security and contingency planning, security policy and programs, risk management, legal and regulatory issues, security personnel, and enterprise information security project management. This course is designed to provide the professional manager with an understanding of the identification and prioritization of information assets and their threats, information security strategy and architecture, how to plan for and respond to system intrusions, the implications of security and privacy issues, and the information disaster recovery plan after an accident.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Admission to the MBA or MSA program or the approval of the MBA advisor.
Credits: 3 hours
