SPAN 5570 - Modern Language Instruction I This course informs prospective teachers about the principles and practices of modern language instruction. Students study second language acquisition theory and approaches to teaching the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing as well as grammer and culture. Students must complete this course and achieve a minimum score of Advanced Low on the OPI exam prior to their directed teaching internship.
Credits: 3 hours
