SPED 6356 - Evidence Based Instruction II: 6-12 LA, Ma, Sc, SS This course will focus evidence-based instruction in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies for students in grades 6-12. This course will emphasize application of differentiated instruction using universal design for learning (UDL) principles, evidence-based assessment and instructional strategies, assistive technology, and development of self-determination skills in a context that ensures access to the general education curriculum for students with high incidence disabilities and those academically at risk leading to successful transition beyond high school.
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions Restricted to master’s in Special Education. Notes: May be repeated for credit. Open to graduate students only.
