CHEG 2960 - Material and Energy Balance


Fundamentals of chemical engineering dealing with behavior of gases, thermophysical properties of solids, liquids and gases, thermochemistry and associated problem solving. Emphasis is on material and energy balances. The laboratory session will be used as a problem solving workshop.

Note: Will be offered as honors courses for interested students.

Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: CHEG 2800, PHYS 2050 (both CHEG 2800 and PHYS 2050 may be taken concurrently), MATH 1230, CHEM 1100. A minimum grade of “C” is required in CHEG prefixed prerequisites.

Credits: 4 hours
