CHEM 5200 - Instrumental Methods in Chemistry An introduction to the theory and application of modern chemical instrumentation is presented. General topics covered are elementary electronics, electrochemistry, spectroscopy, and other instrumental techniques. This course includes lecture and laboratory.
Note: Open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Junior standing and 20 hours of Chemistry, to include CHEM 4310 and (CHEM 4360 or CHEM 4380); with a minimum grade of “C” or better needed in all courses; and department approval.
Corequisite: CHEM 5210
Credits: 3 hours
