BLS 3020 - Ambulatory, Communication, and Information Aids for Travel This course will provide knowledge of ambulatory, communication, and information devices that assist independent travel for persons with disabilities. It will provide information about and practice with the use of different types of canes, walkers, wheelchairs, scooters, communication boards, and information such as GPS (global positioning system), Internet maps, talking maps, talking signs, and geographic information systems.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Admission to Travel Instruction program.
