Accountancy Minor (ACTN)

Accountancy is the language of business. The Accountancy Minor will help prepare student to become successful professionals in their chosen careers. Foundational and elective courses include topics such as understanding and analyzing costs, budgets, and financial statements.

The Accountancy Minor (ACTN) requires 15 total credit hours as shown below:

Required Courses:

ACTY 2100 - Introduction to Financial Accounting and Analysis Credits: 3 hours
ACTY 2110 - Introduction to Managerial Accounting and Strategic Decision Making Credits: 3 hours
ACTY 3100 - Financial Accounting I Credits: 3 hours

Elective Courses:

Students must select two additional courses (6 credit hours) from available accountancy courses.
