REL 5000 - Topics in Comparative Religion


The topic to be announced in the Schedule of Classes. The content of the course will vary from semester to semester. Students may repeat the course for credit as long as the subject matter is different. Topics such as the following will be studied: Meditation Traditions; Death and Dying; New Religions; Religion in Literature; Islam in the Modern World; Religion and Social Justice, Spirituality and the Environment.

Note: May be repeated for credit. Open to upper-level undergraduate and graduate students.
