PHIL 3150 - Race and Gender Issues


A philosophical examination of principles and values underlying contemporary social issues involving race, gender, and related concepts. Topics include: identity, equality/inequality, equity, harassment, prejudice, discrimination, affirmative action. This course satisfies WMU Essential Studies Level 2: Exploration and Discovery – Societies and Cultures Category. This course also meets the Diversity and Inclusion student learning outcome.
