SOC 3680 - Race, Ethnicity, and JusticeThis course addresses the multicultural dynamics that effect the definition(s) and distribution of justice in the United States. The primary focus is the differential treatment of African Americans, American Indians, Latinos, and Asian Americans throughout the major institutions of society, particularly the legal institution. A critical analysis of the social, political, and economic forces that support the current social structure will direct the inquiry. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: SOC 3620 or instructor approval. Credits: 3 hours |
