STAT 6970 - Data Science Masters Project


Students will work on a specialized project in the field of data science. By the end of the course, students will (i) gain a deeper understanding of data science methodologies; (ii) develop the ability to create, analyze, and critically evaluate various methodologies; (iii) learn how to conduct research and development; and (iv) clearly present and discuss their results, including the literature and methods underlying their findings, both in writing and orally.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: Graduate level competency in data science and the subject areas of the project. Approval of the instructor is required.
