AFS 3800 - Special Topics in Africana Literature and Culture This seminar is designed both to examine critical issues central to the African diaspora and to produce quality research through investigating African, African American, and diaspora literature, history, philosophy, and culture from an African-centered or Afrocentric perspective. This course may be repeated once under different topics with approval of the advisor. This course is approved as a writing-intensive course which may fulfill the baccalaureate-level writing requirement of the student’s curriculum.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Students should have completed one of the following: AFS 2230, 3100, 3300, ENGL 2230, 3080, or 3140.
Credits: 4 hours
