GER 5000 - Elementary German for Reading Proficiency Intensive grammar and elementary reading for translation and research purposes. The course is primarily for the graduate student who has had little or no study in the language. However, undergraduates who desire a thorough reading knowledge may also apply. Undergraduates must secure permission of Department. No oral work. This course does not count toward a major or minor in German.
Credits: 4 hours
Notes: 5000-level courses may be taken only by advanced undergraduate students. Advanced undergraduate students are defined as those who have satisfactorily completed a minimum of four courses, or equivalent, applicable toward a major or minor in any one language. Each course, however, may have more specific and/or additional prerequisites
