HPER 4910 - Exercise for Special Populations This course serves as an introduction to exercise management for individuals who experience chronic disease and disabilities. Students will develop and apply knowledge of testing procedures and program development for special populations, including the pathophysiology of various diagnoses and specific effects of exercise response, training, and contraindicated exercises.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: HPER 2950, 2960, 2980, 3170, 3950, 3960, and 3970.
Credits: 3 hours
