GREK 5030 - Greek - English Translation Practicum This is a practical course to teach the skills for translating texts from classical Greek into English. The objective of this course is to develop further language proficiency and to introduce students to the nuts and bolts of translation. Students will produce English translations from different sorts of classical Greek texts, such as essays, poetry, documents, and short fiction.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: GREK 1010 or instructor approval.
Credits: 1 - 4 hours
Notes: May be repeated for credit. Open to Upperclass and Graduate students.
