CHEM 5070 - Ethical Chemical Practice This class addresses ethical standards and professional practice for the conduct oaf chemists. Students will learn to access and search the scientific literature, develop a set of ethical standards, and maintain a safe laboratory environment in an atmosphere of responsible care. The course will also address responsibilities of the individual professional in group, academic, and industrial settings.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: 24 hours of chemistry.
Credits: 3 hrs.
Notes: Open to Upperclass and Graduate Students. Undergraduates with junior or senior status and 12 credit hours in chemistry may enroll in 500-level courses with prior approval of the department chair.
