GEOS 5640 - Environmental Field Geophysics


Field studies utilizing seismic gravity, and magnetic, electomagnetic, georadar, and electrical resistivity methods for glacial geology and ground-water, engineering, and environmental problems in the Kalamazoo area. Course also includes field work at local sites.

Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: GEOS 5600, or consent of instructor.

Credits: 3 hrs.

Notes: Open to Upperclass and Graduate Students. Prerequisites applicable to all 5000-level courses in Geology are junior status or above and 12 or more credit hours of course work in geology, including the specific prerequisite for each course, or consent of instructor.
