MATH 6050 - Optimization This course will cover one or several topics from the area of optimization. The topic(s) may include nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, optimal control, variational analysis, discrete optimization, stochastic optimization, and network optimization. If the material covered is significantly different, this course may be repeated for credit with approval of the instructor.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: MATH 2720 and consent of the instructor.
Credits: 3 hrs.
