LS 6190 - Clinical Studies in Reading This course is intended to provide the basic information needed in the examination of persons with reading disabilities. Interviewing techniques and examination procedures will be the basic content of the course. Emphasis will be placed on the educational, physical, psychological, and sociological factors affecting reading performance. Students will be provided with a knowledge of both standardized and informal reading tests. Students will have the opportunity to construct, administer, score, and interpret both standardized and nonstandardized reading tests. Emphasis will be placed on producing a practical bibliography of measurement instruments and materials.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: ED 3120 or 3220.
Credits: 3 hrs.
