HOL 5300 - Special Topics in Holistic Health Variable topic, variable credit course for consideration of current and special interests in holistic health. Specific topics, number of credit hours and prerequisites, if any, will be announced each time the course is scheduled. Special topics courses are offered each semester and may include: Bodymind Nutrition, Biofeedback and Neurofeedback, Humor/Fun Brain’s Best Learning Strategies, Experimental/Adventure Education, Meditation to Enhance Living, Advanced Meditation to Enhance Living, Yoga to Enhance Living, Mindfulness to Enhance Living, Introduction to Chinese Medicine, Taoist Tai Chi for Health, Power of Breath (Pranayama), Diversity and Holism, Introduction to Psychodrama, Advanced Spirituality, Spiritual Activism, and Understanding Children’s Drawings. Other topics are planned.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites, if any, will be announced each time the course is scheduled.
Credits: 1 - 4 hours
Notes: Open to Upperclass and Graduate students. May be repeated for credit with different topics.
