NUR 6990 - Research Project in Selected Area of Study This course focuses on the application of the research process to the development and conduct a research proposal or project. This course includes advisement and supervision of the student’s selected investigation into the scholarship of teaching, the scholarship of clinical nurse leadership, or research with a selected population. The student may work with a faculty member’s program of scholarship or with their own problem in designing, collecting and/or evaluating data. The outcome of the practicum will be a scholarly paper.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: Admission to the Masters of Science in Nursing and successful completion of NUR 6400 and NUR 6410.
Credits: 3 hours
