BUS 6990 - Business Strategy An advanced examination of the tasks of formulating long-run strategy for the organization. Using strategic cases and/or simulations, the course includes methods of (1) developing opportunities from analyses of environmental and market trends, (2) understanding company strengths, weaknesses, and competencies, and (3) directing the integration of strategy with operating plans through formal and informal networks. This is an integrative capstone course designed to provide a total business perspective.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: ACTY 6110, FIN 6120, MKTG/MGMT 6140, MGMT 6170 and MKTG 6130; or approval of the HCOB director of graduate programs.
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions Enrollment in HCOB graduate business courses requires admission to the M.B.A. or M.S.A. program or the approval of the Director of M.B.A. Program. Notes: Open to Graduate students only. When Offered: Fall, Spring
