MUS 3800 - Psychology of Music Physical, psychological and physiological aspects of sound and systems of tonal relationships. The effects of music on the individual and the consideration of music as a form of communication; the nature and measurement of musicality; the nature of musical memory; the underlying bases for musical taste and for aesthetic experience in music with emphasis on cultural influences.
