BIOS 5640 - Developmental Genetics A survey of basic literature in genetics supporting both historical and recent findings in developmental biology. Practicum in current molecular and genetic methodology, oral presentations, and writing grant applications. Some review of basic cell biology and gene regulation.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: BIOS 1500 and BIOS 2500, with grades of “C” or better. BIOS 2600 recommended.
Credits: 3 hours
Notes: This course is approved to cover the capstone requirement for the Biology and Biomedical Sciences majors. Open to Upperclass and Graduate students.
