ANTH 3400 - Cultures of Asia This course will provide an introduction to contemporary cultures and societies of Asia. Emphasis will be placed on topics such as education, family, workplaces, gender, popular culture, and identity. By locating contemporary institutions and idioms within a historical context, this class aims to replace cultural stereotypes with anthropological analysis.
Credits: 3 hours
