CHEG 3550 - Bioprocess Engineering The extension of chemical engineering fundamentals to biological systems. Topics include: bioreaction engineering, bioseparations, and commercial applications of biomaterials and bioprocesses to societal needs.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: BIOS 1500 and CHEG 2960. A minimum grade of “C” is required in CHEG prefixed prerequisites.
Credits: 3 hours
Notes: Completion of 1 semester of organic chemistry is highly recommended. Lecture Hours - Laboratory Hours: (2 - 3) When Offered: Spring
