CHEM 5510 - Biochemistry I Laboratory This is the lab course that complements CHEM 550. Experiments involve more advanced techniques and instrumentation than in CHEM 356. Emphasis will be on purification and properties of proteins and nucleic acids.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: Junior standing and 12 hours of work in chemistry, including CHEM 3770, CHEM 3780, CHEM 4300 and CHEM 5500 (may be taken concurrently); with a minimum grade of “C” or better in all courses; and department approval.
Credits: 2 hours
