CHEM 5990 - Independent Study in Chemistry Under the direction of a faculty member, highly qualified advanced students or small groups may pursue student-initiated research projects. The results will be summarized in a paper or other work as agreed with the faculty member.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Junior standing and 12 hours of work in chemistry (with a minimum grade of “C” in all courses); and department approval.
Credits: 1 to 3 hours
Notes: May be repeated for up to a total of six credit hours. Open to Upperclass and Graduate students.
