AFS 3900 - Women Writers in Contemporary Black Literature from the 19th Century to the Present An interdisciplinary course that focuses attention on the creative and critical writing by major women writers from Africa, the U.S., and the Caribbean. It meets a need for majors in Africana Studies, Gender and Women’s Studies, and English.
