ENVS 3700 - Race, Climate, and the Environment This course provides an interdisciplinary introduction to the study of race and climate. It explores how climate shaped human population evolution, how modern “races” have experienced the impacts of recent climate change in uneven ways, and what might be done to heighten understanding of the future consequences on vulnerable populations of projected climate changes.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: (ENVS 1000, ENVS 2150 or GEOS 1200) or instructor approval.
