AVS 2810 - Introduction to Air Traffic Control Overview of the FAA Air Traffic Control System discussing the roles, responsibilities, and interactions it has within the National Airspace System. This includes a survey of the structure, tools, procedures and services of the air traffic control system emphasizing the role and responsibilities of air traffic controllers within the system.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Sophomore standing; AVS 1200 and AVS 1210 with grades of “C” or better.
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Restricted to majors in Aviation Management and Operations or Aviation Flight Science.
