BIOS 2020 - General Botany An introduction to the anatomy, morphology, physiology and diversity of plants. In the first part of the course, chemical and cellular composition of tissues and organs will be related to function. The second part of the semester will explore plant diversity within an evolutionary and ecological framework. Lab exercises will emphasize the scientific method and will be integrated with current lecture material.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: BIOS 1620 or BIOS 1510, with a grade of “C” or better.
Credits: 4 hours
