BIOS 2600 - Introduction to Developmental Biology How do fly eggs become flies and human eggs become people? A study of pattern formation and emergence of the basic body plan, emphasizing the common elements of development conserved throughout the metazoan groups. Surveys developmental model systems and includes reviews of basic cell biology, gene regulation and signaling pathways.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: BIOS 1610 or BIOS 1500, with a grade of “C” or better.
