BIOS 1620 - Ecology and Evolution This course covers basic concepts of evolution and ecology, and addresses how the tremendous range of biological diversity on Earth arose, how different life forms interact with each other and with the physical environment, and the issues that threaten their future. This course can be taken as the second or third course in the required three-semester introductory biology sequence for majors and minors in the Biological Sciences Department.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: BIOS 1600 or CHEG 2960; with a grade of “C” or better in all prerequisites.
Credits: 4 hours
