ME 2950 - introductory Topics in Mechanical Engineering A specialized course dealing with various areas of introductory topics in mechanical engineering systems, design processes and their connections to basic ideas of physics and mathematics. The lecture will focus on visual experiences and demonstrations of mechanical systems and processes, with the appropriately related physics explanations and mathematical relationships. The students will be involved in competitive design projects, experiencing teamwork, design process, testing and communication.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Departmental approval.
Credits: 1 to 4 hours
Notes: May be repeated for credit.
