MUS 2595 - MTP Musicianship II This class is the second in a two-part sequence of courses designed to encompass a study of basic music theory, keyboard fundamentals and aural skills to develop the singer’s ability to understand music on the page and by ear and to hear music internally before it is performed aloud. Recognition of music patterns will result from the development of listening skills (dictation, error detection, musical memory) and performance skills. Restricted to majors in music theatre performance.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: MUS 1595 with a grade of “C” or better or departmental examination.
Credits: 2 hours
