MUS 1950 - Digital Video Concepts Students in this course will be introduced to technical aspects of digital video, including basic principles of digital images, storage formats, compositing, video compression, and media encoding. Student projects applying these principles will include exercises in image capturing, motion graphics, compositing, and video editing. The course is designed to approach these concepts from the perspective of students with music technology backgrounds, covering material in a manner commensurate with the technical expectations of a foundational course in a B.S. degree.
