AVS 3140 - Airport Operations This course will analyze the day to day operations of a typical large to medium size airport. Students will study Federal Airport Certification regulations (FAR part 139) and the AAAE Learning module 3 as classroom work. They will also participate in field work. They will be assigned to work directly with operations personnel at local airports and gain hands-on experience in an operating airport.
Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: AVS 3040 with a grade of “C” or better (may be taken concurrently).
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions: Restricted to majors in Aviation Management and Operations.
