GEOS 1050 - Dinosaurs This course takes a multidisciplinary approach to dinosaurs with emphasis on the interaction between dinosaurs and their environment. The course will define what is a dinosaur using the scientific method. Discussion of the interactions between dinosaurs and their environment will cover topics such as predator-prey interactions, disosaurian behavior, and mortality. Supporting evidence for dinosaur evolution and extinction will be described. The role of dinosaurs in modern culture will also be explored.
Credits: 3 hours
