CS 6810 - Compiler Optimization Theory, design, and implementation of compiler optimization techniques. Topics include: intermediate representations, advanced code generation, control and data-flow analysis, dynamic compilation, global register allocation, and instruction scheduling. A major project is required.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: (CS 5541 and CS 5800) or CS 5810, a grade of “B” or better is required to satisfy any course prerequisite.
Credits: 3 hours
Restrictions This course is restricted to the following: masters and doctorates in computer science, masters in electrical engineering, and doctorates in mathematics. Notes: Open to graduate students only.
