ECE 5730 - Foundations of Neural Networks Biological and artificial neural networks from an electrical and computer engineering perspective. Neuron anatomy. Electrical signaling, learning, and memory in biological neural networks. Development of neural network circuit models. Artificial neural systems including multilayer feedforward neural networks, Hopfield networks, and associative memories. Electronic implementations and engineering applications of neural networks.

Restrictions This course is restricted to graduate students in majoring either Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
