ECE 6360 - Applied Optics and Optical System Design Classical and conventional optical methods in use by the engineering and research community. Moire, Speckle and Speckle-shearing interferometry. Holographic interferometry. Photo-elasticity and electronic speckle pattern interferometry. Optics and lasers for research and industrial applications. Digital image processing and optical system design.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
Credits: 3 hours
