ECON 6860 - Monetary Economics In this course the interaction between macroeconomic activity and the quantity of money in the economy is studied. Both theoretical and empirical models are examined. Topics include empirical evidence on money and output, money and transactions, money and procedures, and interest rates and monetary policy.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisites: ECON 6190 and ECON 6760, or equivalent.
Credits: 3 hours
