EMR 6550 - Experimental and Quasi-experimental Design for Applied Research and Evaluation With an emphasis on casual inference and various types on validity, this course consists of systematically studying the principles for designing experimental, quasi-experimental and, to a lesser extent, non-experimental investigations for applied research and evaluation. Students also will be introduced to design sensitivity/statistical power for individual-level and group-level studies.
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Prerequisite: EMR 6450 and EMR 6650, or instructor approval. (EMR 6650 may be taken concurrently.)
Credits: 3 hours
